GATERON BABY RACCOON - TECH SPECS
A smooth linear
It took some time to adjust since I was used to Halo True switches on another board. These Baby Racoons have become my favorite so far on the Halo65 and I overall prefer linear switches now. The force I put down when typing tends to be on the heavy side, and these feel great all the way through their travel. They're also reasonably quiet. I don't feel too self-conscious when I bring this to the office, which is dead quiet. Highly recommend these!
Linear but firm and quiet - the thock is still present
I have these on my halo 96 and use it for work. We have cubicles so it is still light and quiet. My coworkers enjoy the asmr. Although these don’t feel creamy they feel like I’m lightly tapping on a marble counter top. I don’t get hand fatigue like cherry blacks though because the stem that connects to the spring is longer. 10/10 would use in a work setting.
The Gateron baby raccoon switches are a nice buttery smooth linear switch. I primarily type as opposed to game with them but I really enjoy the typing experience they provide on my Halo75. They are quiet and a bit thocky. I'd buy them again.
